IN 100 WORDS
On October 5, 2025, more than 1,000 neighbors walked through our doors in Downtown Rochester, New York and 502 made a decision to follow Jesus. It was a miracle beginning, believed to be the largest first-Sunday attendance of any church launch in Rochester's history.
Today, 413 Church is a multigenerational, multicultural, nondenominational community anchored in a Philippians 4:13 way of life: "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
We walk alongside people and families as they take their next steps to Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference. Sunday’s coming.

OUR FOUNDERS
DR. TORRANCE & ALYSHA JONES
Torrance is a unifier and scholar through and through. His father, who never got to finish high school, taught himself to read using comic books and the Bible. Daring to dream, Torrance became a first-generation college graduate and earned his doctorate from St. John Fisher University. A life-changing experience while studying abroad in Israel redirected his path toward under-served communities back home. Today—whether teaching, writing, or serving on the ground—his work is all about helping everyday people connect to purpose and de-mythicized dreams. When he's off the clock, you’ll find him channeling his inner comic book nerd at the movies—a quiet nod to his origin story.
Alysha is a grounded presence and a fierce advocate for children and families. As a first-generation college graduate and former four-year NCAA basketball starter, she brings that same team-first focus to 413. Her career spans child protection, behavioral health, maternal care, and elder care—a life dedicated to making the invisible seen. Off the clock, she’s a passionate advocate for women’s sports, and is usually happiest on a long drive with a good audiobook.
Together, they love the historic roots of Rochester, New York, the Flower City. But their favorite role is being the proud parents of their daughter, Zoë.

We consider reaching people who do not know God personally to be one of our greatest responsibilities. Our weekend services are where we focus on that relationship. Whether you are new to church, returning after some time away, or have been involved all your life, our weekend worship experiences are for people at all stages in their spiritual journey. -
(Small Groups)
One of the ways God designed for us to live in freedom is to have people in our life to help us in the journey. We believe life change happens in the context of relationships. Don't do life alone. Connecting with others in Small Groups is a practical and enjoyable way to experience that kind of life‑changing community. -
(Growth Track)
We’re all an important part of God’s plan, and our life will never make sense until we discover how God designed us. Growth Track exists to help you discover and develop your purpose and live the full life God created for you.

God created all of us to make a difference in the world around us. At 413, we are on a mission to connect every person to an opportunity to live out their calling by using their gifts and talents. Through the Dream Team, you’ll have an opportunity to live out your calling by using your gifts and talents to serve others locally and beyond. Outreach is where transformation begins—for them and for you.
