Whatever you’re comfortable in. No suits required. No judgment given. Most people dress casual—jeans, sneakers, whatever works for you. We’re here for your heart, not your outfit.
-
No way. We don’t single anyone out, call your name during service, or make anyone feel uncomfortable. Our goal is to create a space where you can relax, be yourself, and experience community without any awkwardness. No pressure, No spotlight.
-
Absolutely not. At 413 Church, belonging comes first. Whether you’ve been following Jesus your whole life, or you’re just starting to ask spiritual questions, you have a seat here. You don’t need to have it all together—we sure don’t.
-
Nope. You’re welcome to come, take it all in, and just enjoy the experience—no strings attached. We don’t expect guests to give, and there’s never any pressure. We do talk about generosity because we’ve seen firsthand how living in God’s rhythm of giving is transformational by God's design. Think of life like baseball: you don’t play with two gloves just catching everything. One glove is for receiving, and the other is for giving back to others. But if you’re new here, just come and receive. This moment is for you.

We named our Church "413 Church" from the timeless truth of Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
-
The difference between 413 Church and any other church is like the difference between one person’s fingerprint and another—completely unique by God’s design. 413 Church has been shaped by the life experiences of our founders, Dr. Torrance and Alysha Jones, whose journey through higher education, community leadership, children and family services has formed a church built on compassion, wisdom, knowledge and trust. Their passion for practical applications of faith, life-giving relationships, holistic well-being and fun has given 413 Church a distinct heartbeat. We’re here to offer the expression of faith and community that God has written into our story—a place that’s real, welcoming, diverse, and full of life.

Rochester is hurting. According to Barna Research Group, Rochester is ranked as the 8th most post-Christian city in our nation. We also rank among the highest in childhood poverty, crime, and unemployment, and others. But we believe those statistics don't have the final word. We believe God belongs in Rochester. We believe that year by year, Rochester will move farther and farther away from being a post-Christian city. Because when Jesus gets involved, people are never the same.
Do you want to walk alongside people? Do you want to help grow a life-giving community & leave Rochester a little better than you found it?
